PRETTY PENS Stand: G-C37 pensprettypens.co.uk Pretty Pens is an independent Scottish company based in Glasgow, owned and managed by Moya McNicol, who has been involved in pen sales for many years. Recently, Moya acquired the pen business operated by the long-established company Mandarin Enterprises. The company imports pretty pens from East Asia and sells to retail outlets throughout the UK and across Europe, as well as on eBay and Amazon. The name aptly describes the designs of the pens, which are also known as glitter pens because of the sparkle applied. The range includes geometric, flower and themed bespoke designs, many of which originate in Glasgow and include cats, dogs, butterflies, pandas, owls, tartans and flags. Each pen is supplied with a free velveteen pouch, and gift boxes and refills are also available at extra cost. The company is also offering a 10 per cent discount on orders placed during the event. EARTH SQUARED Stand: DP1, C-74 & QS-50 earthsquared.com Visitors to the Earth Squared stand at Home & Gift will see a carefully considered presentation of product ranges with variety of textures and fabric choices. There’s a large collection to choose from, with something for everyone and consistently low prices that give excellent margins for retailers. This year, the beautiful tweed range contains a number of bestselling styles plus the introduction of brand new Phoebe bags and classic tweed-buttoned wraps lined with super-soft cotton jersey. There are eight gorgeous shades, ranging from contemporary cool to traditional and understated. The AW18 collection also includes an impressive range of oil cloths in cool and calm colours that blend seamlessly with the tweeds and other products across the entire collection. There are four new prints all available in favourite styles, such as back packs, Freya bags and messengers, all with soft viscose scarves to match. New ranges to look out for are a winter version of the fabulous patchwork range, which was a big hit in spring, as well as animal appliqué designs including fresh styles in this line. GISELA GRAHAM Stand: DP1–A8 and A17 giselagraham.co.uk Gisela Graham looks ahead to the Easter/ Spring season. Each range comprises fillable and decorative eggs, German-style hanging decorations and twigs and Easter trees to hang them from, spring gifts and novelties and impulse pick-up gifts. Harrogate is also a chance to see Gisela’s 20 highly commercial co-ordinated gifts ranges – gifts for gardeners, children’s rooms and modern interior concepts.
