The luxury Letterpress puppy collection now includes 16 breeds of dog and sells exceptionally well. New for 2018, a pussycats collection was also launched in this range, and several bestsellers are already appearing. Also new for Christmas 2018 are the 12 days of Christmas large square cards, measuring 150mm square, printed on 360gsm Italian board and letterpress-printed with a deep, crisp pressed design and metallic inks. The designs are striking, bright and simple, using just one or two colours to depict the shadows, highlights and character of animals, concentrating on their eyes. The way in which Penguin Ink uses letterpress printing is modern and unique, juxtaposing the old and the new to give the work a wonderfully tactile finish that can be both seen and felt. JANICE DAUGHTERS – ARTIST & ILLUSTRATOR Stand: G-A27 janicedaughters.co.uk Janice Daughters – Artist & Illustrator, will be exhibiting for the first time at Home & Gift and featuring her artwork on greetings cards. Janice’s art include designs from the Inky Creatures and Inky Wings collection of animals and birds. These are illustrated using pen and ink with coloured ink wash. The Bouquet Collection of floral designs, depicting colourful, digitally produced artwork, has expanded to include a Sentiments range. Cameo Creatures is a new collection of animal designs, being shown for the first time at the show, with some designs aimed at male recipients. Janice is also the creator of Scruffo Bear Designs, with charming illustrations of Scruffo Bear and his paw pals, Choco and Polo. There are lots of new designs of these delightful characters, with themes of outdoor pursuits, animal friends, gardening and food. THE PUPPET COMPANY Stand: DP1 A83 thepuppetcompany.com The Puppet Company is looking forward to exhibiting at the Harrogate Gift Fair again this year. It will be showcasing its latest puppet designs, which include a new 30-piece collection of budget-priced glove puppets. Also new for autumn 2018 will be three superb Dino Head hand puppets, complete with realistic teeth. The Wilberry soft toy collection has grown again this year with the addition of more than 60 new designs. The continuing success of Wilberry Toys is keeping the company busy, but it couldn’t be more pleased.
